Im Vorfeld gab es Wetterprognosen, die auf Regen hindeuteten. Auf der Anfahrt gab es zwar heftige Regenschauer, in Eggebek aber war es den ganzen Tag trocken.<br>In der Klasse G5, mit 8 Teilnehmern besetzt, war starke Konkurrenz aus dem gesamten Bundesgebiet gemeldet und so war im Vorfeld Spannung angesagt.<br>Das Abfahren der Strecke mit dem Fahrrad gab noch nicht alle Feinheiten des Parcours preis, jedenfalls nicht f\u00fcr Reinhard, der im Trainingslauf eine Gasse auslie\u00df und ein weiteres Tor fast verfehlte. Die Strecke war sauschnell und man benutzte die ersten beiden G\u00e4nge nur beim Start. Der Rest wurde im dritten absolviert, zum Teil auch mal etwas l\u00e4nger am Drehzahlbegrenzer.<br>Henrik fuhr die schnellste Trainingszeit, dicht gefolgt von Bj\u00f6rn Toppel im VW Golf. Reinhard war nach seinen Umwegen im Nirgendwo.<br>Er war im 1. WL der erste Starter der G5, fand den Weg jetzt sicher und war 5 Sekunden schneller als im Probedurchgang. Toppel verbesserte sich um 2 Sekunden und setzte Henrik unter Druck, der konterte jedoch cool und fuhr 0,7 Sekunden Vorsprung heraus. Im zweiten WL legte er noch mal deutlich zu und gewann eine weitere Sekunde, so dass er im dritten WL auf Sicherheit fahren konnte und mit 2 Sekunden Vorsprung gewann.
